Meadowbridge Community Market (MCM) is a free grocery and supply store located in the Northside neighborhood of Richmond, VA. Run by the collective of folks at MADRVA!
MCM is a place for all people, because everyone deserves free and easy access to food and other basic needs.

Meadowbridge Community Market is open at 3613 Meadowbridge Road! As of May 2026 we are moving to an appointment system, so you must make an apointment to shop.

MCM encourages folks to take only what they need from the store and share what they have with others when they can.

Appointments must be made in advance the week before your shop.
The form to book an appointment will open at 9AM each Friday for the following Saturday, or 8 days before the Saturday you’re scheduling to shop. It will close when all the slots are taken or at 12pm the Thursday before the shopping day.
If you need help with the form, we’ll have volunteers at the free store on Fridays from 10am to 2pm and Saturdays from 7am to 12pm who will be able to help sign you up for an appointment the following week if slots are left.

Meadowbridge Community Market only runs because of the work of community members acting in solidarity with each other.
Roles may include helping at the store during open hours, shopping for items, stocking items, driving deliveries, and cleaning the space.
